We finished Chapter 5 today. Our lesson discussed some of the problems that growing cities had such as overcrowding, disease, and fire. We learned about unions and strikes and collective bargaining. Don't be surprised if your student tries out his collective bargaining skills on you!
Tomorrow we have some end of the chapter work to complete and DARE reports are due.
