Yesterday I was unable to blog--due to technical difficulties.  I was also unable to say much because of a hoarse voice, but we made it through.  The students read the text--I ask questions and we did a workbook page.  We also copied some vocabulary words into our notebooks.
Today, before lunch we finished our lesson on regions and talked about conflict.  Some of the students seem to know a lot about conflict--especially when it involves their siblings!!  Anyway, after lunch we went to the computer lab to work on creating a town.  We are on the website Smiley Gamer, where we are using a simulation game to build a town.  The students were very serious about this and created towns with rivers and roads and all sorts of buildings.  We can even control the weather in our town.
