Tuesday, August 17--Bodies of Water

Today we completed a worksheet with questions that reviewed lesson one.  Then, we started lesson 2 about bodies of water.  After naming  some examples of bodies of water we looked at our vocabulary words and talked about the oceans.  Many students remembered from past studies that the world has four oceans: Pacific, Atlantic, Indian and Arctic. The bell caught us looking at the map in our book and telling some beach and ocean tales!

Fact of the day:
The world's largest ocean is the Pacific.
