Today's lesson was about geography. We discussed landforms and different landform regions in the United States. We started in the coastal plains of the east and moved into the Appalachian mountain area. Our next stop was the Interior Plains and then on to the Rocky Mountains. Beyond the Rockies there are more basins, mountains, plateaus and valleys!
Fact of the Day:
The highest peak in North America is Mount McKinley in Alaska. It is 20,320 feet high.
