Class met in the computer lab today where we watched a Civil War video. Some of my super observant students noticed that some of the pictures used in the video were also in our text book. We finished our fact sheets. (photos next week)
During the second half of class we went back to our room and covered a couple of pages of text. Our text was about the Emancipation Proclamation, and contributions made by African American soldiers and immigrant soldiers.
Monday is Columbus Day so we may have to stop the civil war to have some activities in honor of this!
