For the past two days we have worked in the computer lab.  Our focus has been the Underground Railroad.  We did a webquest, and watched a powerful video about slavery from the Reading Rainbow series on public television.  Our study included the book Follow the Drinking Gourd by Jeanette Winter.
We have also been creating a fact sheet which involved learning some things about word processing. Each student choose a historic figure from our chapter and using internet resources created a fact sheet about that person.  They have seven facts and a picture on the finished product.
