Today we finished Chapter two lesson one by discussing the Compromise of 1850 and the Kansas-Nebraska Act. We learned that the country is still divided and the stage has been set for the Civil War. We completed a workbook page and then went to the computer lab to do a little work on the towns we have created.
Yesterday, I was absent but the students completed a question sheet review and began coloring a Civil War picture that we will use to decorate our room.
