We have been studying the three branches of government this week in Social Studies class. We learned what each branch is responsible for and who makes up each branch in different levels of government, all the way from the National level to the State level and down to our Local level here in Byrdstown.
Yesterday we practiced labeling our 16 states that we will have a quiz over on Friday. They are Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia....and our five new ones this week....Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, West Virginia, and Michigan.
Remember: Keep Studying those States!!
