We are working on finishing up the work in Chapter 6, dealing with issues such as the Spanish-American War, the Panama Canal, new inventions, and reforms.  All of these things took place at the beginning of the century.  Today we took States Quiz #4 and will be adding the "Purple" states to our list for next week. (New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts) Please remember to study these tricky New England states! This will bring our state total to 26, we are moving right along.

This week we also began working in our TCAP practice books. We will continue this over the next few weeks as well as work in our text. Next week we will be moving on to Chapter 7 and World War I.
