Today we began Chapter 6 by writing the vocabulary terms for the chapter. After lunch we went to the computer lab and we did a treasure hunt of Turn of the Century inventions.  Students were asked to choose two favorite Turn of the Century inventions, that were invented between 1867 and 1919. They were asked to find six facts about each of their two favorite inventions, and will orally present their inventions and facts to the class later this week. As a class we are going to determine the impact of each invention on everyday American life.  One basis we can use to determine this is the fact that we still use some of many of the many inventions from the Turn of the Century daily, what would our life be like without....?
